Inauguration of Model Masjid.

On Monday, 30th October/2023, a model mosque was inaugurated today at Jalalpur village in Shankarpur Union No. 8 in Dinajpur Sadar Upazila. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated 50 more model mosques and Islamic cultural centers today in the sixth phase. At that time, National Assembly Whip Iqbalur Rahim, District Administrator Shakeel Ahmed, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Ramiz Alam, Union Chairman Md. Ataur Rahman were present. After the inauguration of the model mosque, prayers are offered for the welfare of the country and the nation. In 2017, the government took a project of Tk 9,435 crores to build Islamic cultural centers and model mosques in every district and upazila of the country as well as in all municipalities. So far 250 model mosques and Islamic centers have been inaugurated at various stages.
